PCORnet Commons Website Design
CENTERLINE DIGITAL TEAM
While at Centerline Digital, I worked on a team to design a website for PCORnet, a national patient-centered clinical research network. The client needed a platform for it's users to share resources and ideas. Our goal was to design a user-friendly website for the audience to interact with each other, sharing resources and ideas related to their field of clinical research.
Working along side of a UX Strategist, we facilitated a remote usability test with 8 users who fit the target user's persona. The participants were encouraged to think aloud while navigating the site, helping us to gain insight to the over all user experience. The overall response to the site was that it was visually engaging and appealing but the users were a little unsure of the purpose of the site. Users were unclear about what would be public and what would be gated, as well as what kind of groups would be created for collaboration. We took this feedback and structured the content more towards answering those questions up front.
